Yanmei published a 10.4-inch IP67 waterproof touch tablet computer, equipped with Intel Atom D525 dual core processor, resistive touch screen and six IP67 standard waterproof interfaces on the back window, which can operate continuously for several hours at a depth of one meter.
OLYTORCH Research has recently released a 10.4-inch waterproof touch tablet computer equipped with Intel Atom D525 1.8GHz high-performance central processor following the launch of waterproof embedded system in the fourth quarter of 2010. This tablet computer is mainly developed for the harsh use environment, and is suitable for underwater applications with a water depth of up to one meter, outdoor open space navigation systems and other human-computer interface applications.
The 10.4-inch waterproof touch tablet computer is equipped with a high-performance and low-power Intel Atom D525 1.8GHz dual core processor. Its embedded motherboard is only 3.5 inches in size. The system memory supports 4GB DDR3 SO-DIMM sockets, and supports up to 8GB of NAND flash memory on the board. It is suitable for high-performance applications. The system also supports two groups of SATA hard disks and CF slots, as well as two groups of mini PCIe expansion interfaces, allowing customers to expand PCIe or USB interfaces as required.
